About SAHK

SAHK was founded in 1963 as “The Spastics Association of Hong Kong”, serving persons of all ages with cerebral palsy. Since then, the Association has been expanding service areas to support persons with different types of disability, and was renamed “SAHK” in 2008. Living up to its motto of “Succeed and Advance”, SAHK is dedicated to providing a wide range of rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities to develop their potential, enhance their independence and help them integrate into the society.

SAHK offers four core services: “Children and Family Support Service”, “Special Education”, “Adult Service” and “Community Support Service”. The Association operates 76 service units and specialised service programmes to support about 20,000 families per annum.
